A packed Vets4Pets National Partner Conference
PARTNER CONFERENCE SUCCESS FOR VETS4PETS
The 2017 Vets4Pets’ annual National Partner Conference was attended by a record number of joint venture partners and exhibitors, as the group celebrated continued growth.
It took place over two days at the Principal Hotel in Manchester and included a focus on the wellbeing of colleagues within the group.
Six workshop and four CPD sessions took place, which included practical activities for colleagues, on subjects such as the patient journey and diagnostics in clinic, demonstrating the group’s continued support for partners and their surgeries.
And more than £3,000 was raised at the gala dinner, which was donated to Battersea Dogs and Cats Home.
Entertainment included an electro string trio, comedian rapper Chris Turner, a live band and motivational speaker Jas Hawker, who talked about his experience of leading the Red Arrows and the importance of teamwork and communication.
Sally Hopson, chief executive of Vets4Pets, said: “This year we had more than 200 partners attending over the two days, along with 37 exhibitors, which helped to make it our most successful conference.
“This year a major focus was on partners and their wellbeing, as this is fundamental to a successful practice with motivated and contented colleagues.
“The conference was also a chance to thank all of our partners and colleagues for their significant part in the continued growth of the group and to provide them with useful and practical tips that they can take back to their practice.”
During the gala dinner a number of awards were presented to partners including Practice of the Year and Partner of the Year.
