RCVS Question Time will be travelling to Cumbria on Tuesday 7 November, giving members the opportunity to discuss issues affecting the future of the veterinary profession with the RCVS Officer team.
Held at the Castle Green Hotel, Kendal, RCVS Question Time is a chance for veterinary surgeons and veterinary nurses to meet in an informal, relaxed atmosphere to debate and discuss hot topics.
The evening will kick-off at 7:00pm with a buffet and a glass of wine, followed by the BBC Question Time-style debate, chaired by RCVS President Sheila Crispin.
Guests are invited to submit questions beforehand, but likely topics for discussion include the provision of veterinary services in rural areas, the RCVS Practice Standards Scheme, veterinary nurse training and future regulation, a new Veterinary Surgeons Act and the RCVS Professional Development Phase.
Veterinary surgeons and Listed veterinary nurses living within an hour or so of the venue have been invited personally, but the event is open to any practice staff who may be interested in attending.
