This week, the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) is inviting delegates to attend its new ‘Learning Zone’ at the British Small Animal Veterinary Association (BSAVA) Congress in Manchester, to learn about a variety of the latest RCVS projects and initiatives from the members of Council and staff at the heart of the work.

The ‘Learning Zone’ – delivered in association with the RCVS Academy, the College’s free digital learning platform for the veterinary professions – will be situated on the RCVS stand (location C510) across the three days of Congress at Manchester Central from Thursday 23 March to Saturday 26 March.

Talks will cover a variety of current projects and will take place every half an hour (9:00am to 17:30pm on Thursday and Friday, and 09:00am to 13:30pm on Saturday). The bite-size sessions have been designed to provide clear, concise information to delegates in an easily digestible manner and will provide the opportunity for delegates to pose any further questions they may have about the projects.

‘Learning Zone’ session topics and speakers are as follows:

In addition to the ‘Learning Zone’, off the stand, on Friday 24 March in the Exchange Auditorium, the RCVS Mind Matters Initiative (MMI) will be heading up the neurodiversity stream, consisting of a number of panel discussions and information sessions aimed at promoting a greater understanding of neurodivergence within the veterinary community.

MMI has also helped to create the programme for the Wellbeing Zone which will be located in the exhibition hall.
