SPILLERS® invests in cutting edge production equipment
SPILLERS® has invested £1m in new cutting edge equipment to enhance the quality and improve the efficiency of equine feed production at its headquarters in Milton Keynes.
The new purpose-designed, high efficiency press enhances the consistency and quality of performance pellets and cubes and ensures a very even coating of oil. It also gives greater flexibility to produce a wider variety of high oil feeds. The new process is also far more efficient with significantly reduced dust and wastage.
The reduced energy intensity of the production process is better for the environment, while the new equipment has improved ergonomics, reduced noise levels and decreased maintenance tasks for employees and contractors.
