Nutritional supplements firm Lintbells Ltd has undertaken a major staff recruitment programme after demand from the veterinary industry surged by more than 300 per cent in the space of a year. The company has been developing its business as a supplier of affordable companion animal products to veterinarians, at a time when many pet owners are putting a greater emphasis on the costs associated with their animals’ health.
Four qualified veterinary professionals, who between them have more than 20 years experience in practice, have joined the Hertfordshire-based company as Veterinary Business Development Executives. They will work in different regions of the country complementing the work of Lucy Millett VN who took on a similar role covering South East England last spring.
Co-founder and Commercial Director of Lintbells John Davies said: “Business from the veterinary sector has been phenomenal and we are delighted to be able to expand our team in this way to meet this unprecedented demand. This is a substantial investment as part of our on-going commitment to our veterinary customers and we feel it’s very important to have an established team specifically supporting the veterinary profession in the UK.
“It’s an exciting time for Lintbells as we are launching a new digestive health range including YUMPRO Bioactiv, together with YUMPRO BioActiv Plus which is designed specifically for the veterinary market.”
Lintbells’ range of existing products including Yumega Plus, Yumove and YUM Puppy all of which provide vet practices with new opportunities to support their clients with proven affordable health solutions.
