inspiring vet care, the UK's largest veterinary group, has today announced a new three-year centenary partnership with World Horse Welfare to coincide with the milestone centenary of the international charity.
As World Horse Welfare's official Centenary Vet Partner, inspiring vet care will provide funding and in-kind support to help the charity continue its vital work caring for, rehabilitating and rehoming horses in need across the UK.
With around 300 equine vets, inspiring vet care’s Equine Vets network brings together an exceptional community of professionals at every stage of their careers, from recent graduates to European Specialists.
The network includes dedicated equine vets alongside mixed-practice vets with a strong equine focus, creating a diverse community of expertise, experience, and clinical perspectives. Practices across the network are also supported by leading equine referral hospitals, providing access to advanced diagnostics, specialist knowledge, and the highest standards of clinical care.
Under the centenary partnership, inspiring vet care will combine its clinical expertise with World Horse Welfare's century-long commitment to horse welfare to deliver practical support for vulnerable horses. Colleagues across the veterinary group will also provide volunteering support and take part in fundraising initiatives throughout the three-year partnership.
Furthermore, inspiring vet care will support World Horse Welfare's rehoming programme by carrying out pre-travel health assessments to ensure horses are fit to move safely to World Horse Welfare sites. The charity will also have access to inspiring vet care's Equine Health Plan, enabling those rehoming horses through World Horse Welfare to benefit from discounted preventative healthcare through their Equine Health Plan, including annual vaccinations, dental examinations and parasite testing.
Inspiring vet care veterinary teams will also deliver equine dental training sessions for their students at World Horse Welfare centres, helping to provide essential dental care for horses awaiting rehoming while giving students valuable hands-on experience.
The centenary partnership enables inspiring vet care to harness its national clinical network and breadth of expertise to make a meaningful difference to horse welfare across the UK. Launching in the run up to World Horse Welfare’s Centenary year, inspiring vet care will support the charity as it celebrates 100 years of improving the lives of horses and looks ahead to its next century of impact.
