Vets4Pets Basildon Pipps Hill has expanded its practice with a new operating theatre and consultation room, enabling the team to offer new services and care for more pets across the local area.

Established in 2012, Vets4Pets Basildon Pipps Hill is run by a 20-strong team of highly skilled vets, experienced nurses and dedicated pet health advisors. The team offers a range of veterinary healthcare services, from preventative care and welfare advice to treating sick and injured animals, and is based inside Pets at Home at Pipps Hill Retail Park.

The expansion follows an increase in demand for consultations, dental x-rays and complex surgical procedures, and with greater capacity and new state-of-the-art equipment the Vets4Pets team can now meet this need and care for more pets across Essex.

Extended facilities at the practice include a new consultation room and operating theatre, which features the equipment needed to perform complicated abdominal and orthopaedic surgeries, tumour removal and dental x-rays, as well as a relaxing break-out area for colleagues.

The team is also actively recruiting for five new roles, including a new veterinary surgeon, three veterinary nurses and one client care advisor, as it increases its services. To apply visit: https://www.vets4petscareers.com/job-vacancies/

Dr Kishor Mahind, practice owner and veterinary surgeon at Vets4Pets Basildon Pipps Hill said: “Our plans for this extension have been underway since the pandemic, and to see it finally come to fruition is fantastic. The refurbishment provides our team with the space and equipment they need to care for more pets across the local area, both with routine consultations and procedures and complex surgeries.

“With more space, we’ll also be able to reduce the amount of time clients have to wait for an appointment, ensuring we can see their beloved pets as quickly as possible. Our whole team is really excited about the extension, and we can’t wait to welcome our clients and their pets into practice.”
