The day course will cover key aspects of neurology in cats beginning with how to perform a neurological examination on a cat. We will work through localising lesions from a neurological examination and how to approach a variety of conditions including Intracranial disease, ataxia and seizures as well as looking at the weak cat and the paralysed cat.
We will also look at neurological disease in the paediatric patient and also the ageing patient.

The Speakers
Kate Stalin<br /> Kate has specialised in veterinary neurology since 2008 initially working in a private referral practice before joining the neurology team at University of Glasgow in 2012. She continues to see clinical cases as well as teaching neurology to undergraduates. Kate’s research interests include CNS neoplasia, inflammatory brain disease, epilepsy and degenerative myelopathy.
