There is an increasing availability of CT and MRI in general practice and consequently a larger requirement for general practitioners to understand the usefulness of such modalities. This course is designed to give a better understanding of the advantages, and importantly, the limitations of CT and MRI for use in general practice. It will include a discussion of which cases would benefit more from a CT examination and which would benefit more from MRI.

Who is it for?

This course is designed for general practitioners and advanced practitioners in general practice that would like to know more about the use of CT and MRI. Candidates for the course should be interested in diagnostic imaging, and where advanced imaging may be useful for general practice patients.
