This introductory orthopaedic surgery course will give you the knowledge and practical skills required to manage common orthopaedic conditions in dogs. Through a mixture of lectures and wet-lab practical sessions, you’ll review key surgical anatomy and develop confidence in performing routine orthopaedic procedures.
The course focuses on fundamental principles of fracture management, surgical approaches to joints and bones, and the treatment of common conditions affecting the canine musculoskeletal system. No prior orthopaedic surgical experience is required, making it ideal for veterinary surgeons beginning to develop their orthopaedic skill set.
