This highly practical course is designed to help you develop confidence in performing diagnostic and interventional endoscopy in small animal practice. Through a combination of focused teaching and extensive wet-lab sessions, you will gain hands-on experience using both flexible and rigid endoscopes.
You will practise endoscopic examination of the gastrointestinal and respiratory tracts, as well as rigid endoscopic techniques for evaluation of the lower urinary and reproductive tract in the bitch. The course focuses on safe scope handling, navigation techniques, biopsy collection and foreign body retrieval, helping you build the technical skills required to incorporate endoscopy more effectively into clinical practice.

Flexible endoscopy
Equipment selection and scope handling
Upper gastrointestinal endoscopy, including biopsy collection and foreign body retrieval
Lower gastrointestinal endoscopy and ileal intubation
Upper and lower respiratory tract endoscopy, including BAL
Rigid endoscopy
Principles of rigid endoscopy
Vestibuloscopy and vaginoscopy
Urethroscopy and cystoscopy
Biopsy techniques and introduction to ureteral ectopia management
