This course will look at various different aspects, and considerations, for our young and old patients. We will review the organ system changes that we see in these patients, and look at how we can make their hospitalisation less stressful. We will also review anaesthesia of these patients, particularly relevant in geriatrics who make up a large percentage of our patients undergoing procedures.The course will be divided into the following modules, which will be released sequentially, and will also have case studies to run alongside them, but I more than welcome discussion around other cases you may have experienced.Module 1: Emergency care of neonates and paediatric patientsModule 2: Anaesthesia of paediatric patientsModule 3: Nursing Considerations for Geriatric PatientsModule 4: Anaesthesia of Geriatric PatientsModule 5: Continuous Rate Infusions why, when and how?
