This two-day course on head and neck surgery is designed to be as clinically relevant as possible. Morning and afternoon sessions are divided into short technique descriptions, indications and complications, followed by hands-on cadaver practicals. Delegate numbers are restricted to allow for maximal teaching time.
Techniques to be covered include thyroid and parathyroid surgery, ear surgery (lateral wall resection and total ear canal ablation), rostral mandibulectomy and maxillectomy and tumours of the lip and muzzle. Principles of laryngeal surgery, specifically arytenoid lateralisation will be covered if delegates request.
