We encounter acute and chronic pain in equine practice every day. Are you up to date with the current pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatment options? Do you think you could improve your ability to assess pain in equine patients?
This course aims to equip the participants with current knowledge on equine pain and its assessment. The course will then explore the different treatment options along with their advantages and disadvantages. Opioid use in equines and new approaches to locoregional anaesthesia will be reviewed. Ancillary therapies and other pain management modalities such as acupuncture will be explored. Case examples will be used to provide practical examples of equine pain medicine.
Why do this course?
