This Physiotherapy Masterclass on the Equine Back and Pelvis is aimed at both ACPAT qualified Physiotherapists and Equine Clinicians looking to refresh their knowledge of the assessment and treatment options available in this common area of practice. It will run over 4 weeks with a break week in the middle. The weeks will focus on revising back and pelvis pathology before reviewing current approaches to diagnosis, assessment and initial management from both professional perspectives. Common clinical cases and the principles behind their rehabilitation will be addressed in week 5, and the over-arching theme throughout the module will be one of professional collaboration and the ‘team approach’ to maximise clinical outcomes.
