We currently have a fantastic opportunity for an equine veterinarian to join the team at our highly regarded RCVS PSS accredited equine surgery located on the border of London and Essex UK.
We are inviting applications from well-rounded Equine Veterinarians who are looking to further advance their career. We believe in practising with clinical freedom and encourage and fund ongoing CPD at all levels, as well as offer the scope to work towards an accredited certification. By being an independent family run practice, we encourage the input of our staff in the running of the practice. We put a strong emphasis on work life balance and encourage our vets to pursue other hobbies and passions.
About Galley Hill Equine
Galley Hill Equine Surgery is a busy independent veterinary practice, with wonderful bonded clients, situated in the country side and near the magnificent and huge Epping Forest. The location has excellent road, rail and airport links. We are about 20 minutes from Central London by over ground and underground train, 10 minutes drive from the M25 and M11 and 25 minutes from Stansted Airport.
Our vets and nurse are well trained and experienced and with our visiting specialist surgeon we are able to offer our patients an in house service that require very little referral. The caseload is varied, involving ambulatory care and the opportunities to work up your own cases, allowing you to demonstrate and develop your chosen skills. The surgery is located in a modern, custom-built facility which include a knock-down room, theatre, stables and a work up are as well as being well equipped with digital x-ray, endoscope, ultrasound, K-laser, PRP/Stem Cell processor and an up to date IDEXX in-house laboratory.
About the position
Your job description would simply be clinical resolution, client satisfaction, financial profit and team harmony. Good communication skills are essential in order to achieve this. Our clients are a split of pleasure and competition owners and expect a caring and professional service. Hours are 8am-5pm weekdays, and a 1:4 weekend and 1:3 evening rota. Sponsorship will be available if needed.
Requirements for candidate:
*RCVS Registration essential
*Have excellent verbal/written communication skills
*Must be a good team player
