This pivotal role offers a platform for you to exhibit your leadership skills while managing a passionate team, providing exceptional medical care, and fostering strong client relationships. With a focus on small animals and a burgeoning exotics caseload, this opportunity promises an environment ripe for learning, development, and personal fulfilment.- Manage a team of 5 vets, providing clinical support and overseeing daily practice operations
- Showcase your expertise in small animal care, with a specialty in exotics, while continuously honing your surgical and medical skills
- Enjoy a modern practice equipped with state-of-the-art equipment including digital X-ray, in-house laboratory, and ultrasound and multi parameter.
- Flexibility to work full-time (40 hours per week) on a rotating schedule with no out-of-hours commitments
- A large and expanding exotic caseload with all the necessary exotic equipment.
- Experienced clinical team of 5 vets, 5 RVNs, a SVN and a strong support and reception team.
- BVSc/MRCVS or equivalent, with a strong foundation in veterinary medicine and surgery
- Confidence in handling routine surgical and medical cases; experience or keen interest in exotics
- Demonstrated ability in team leadership or management; people management experience is advantageous
- Passion for building and nurturing strong client, patient, and team relationships
- Proactive mindset with an eagerness for continuous professional development
