A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join a supportive, people‑focused practice with a long‑standing, loyal team. This is a practice that genuinely values positivity, open communication and a collaborative working culture. The environment is welcoming, non‑judgemental and free from toxicity, with management committed to helping every team member grow and reach their full potential.
The practice is entering an exciting new phase, with plans for future expansion. This is an ideal time to join a stable, community‑focused team and contribute to the next chapter of its development.
The Role
We are seeking a confident, self‑sufficient Veterinary Surgeon with at least 2–3 years’ experience. You will be comfortable managing routine consultations, surgeries and basic emergency procedures, and able to work independently when required. Due to the level of autonomy involved, this role is not suitable for new graduates.
The practice offers excellent facilities and a supportive clinical environment, with a team that includes experienced vets, qualified RVNs, a VCA and a strong reception team. CPD is actively encouraged and generously funded, including support for certificates.
The practice is located in a town surrounded by beautiful Northamptonshire countryside, with country parks and green spaces just minutes away.
The rota is ideally full time, but flexible patterns can be discussed. The weekend commitment is 1 in 3 Saturdays, with limited cover to keep things fair. There is some sole charge but no out‑of‑hours.
