The Role:
This corporately owned practice is currently looking for a full time Senior Veterinary Surgeon to join their fantastic team in Castleford. You would be working a four-day week, with 1:4 weekends based at their main hospital. Shift times for this role would be 9am-7pm with one hour for lunch.
An ability to work up and follow through cases, work sole charge and be a keen surgeon are all essential to this role. Experience in training others, leading by example and providing mentorship and support are also ideal.
The practice is well equipped with digital x-ray, ultrasound, dental machine, tonopen and haematology machines. If a candidate is wanting additional equipment to develop a new service or skill, they are happy to discuss. Endoscopy, multiparameter, bair hugger and ventilators are available at their sister hospital for critical cases requiring 24/7 nursing
