This years challenge: A rogaine style, 5 hour long event, which took place in the Pentlands, Scotland. 26 dedicated BCF staff members got involved, and met at 8.30am. Sharp.
The aim was to run, walk or cycle round a predetermined route in order to collect points which convert into £££’s for the BCF chosen charities. The more points collected the more money BCF will donate to the charities.
Jason Rogers commented,
“What an amazing day. The weather was perfect. The company even better! Thanks to everyone who took part.”
Gavin Mitchell commented,
“This was our second charity challenge and it was even more successful than the first one. We like to encourage our staff to keep fit but also to have fun. And we definitely had fun today, whilst raising money for a number of great causes.”
The charities
In total an amazing £4,000 was raised which will be donated to the BCF Foundation’s chosen charities –
Marie Curie Cancer Care, RDA-Ravelrig – Riding for the Disabled, Open Door Accommodation Project and Irish Whale and Dolphin Group.
