Buprenodale® - New Multidose Opiod Analgesic From Dechra

Buprenodale 10ml pack shot Dechra Veterinary Products has enhanced its anaesthesia and analgesia portfolio with the introduction of Buprenodale®. Buprenodale is available in a 10 ml multi-dose vial and is licensed for dogs, cats and horses. Dechra's Brand Manager Carol Morgan said: “Dechra is committed to developing and launching new products to support veterinary professionals across the UK and Ireland. “Following on from the introduction of Comfortan and Anesketin, our Buprenodale Multidose, 0.3 mg/ml solution for injection for dogs, cats and horses, is the latest addition to the portfolio. “The active substance in Buprenodale is buprenorphine, the most commonly used opioid analgesic in small animal practice in the UK.* “Buprenodale Multidose joins a portfolio of Dechra products covering a wide range of species, different levels of analgesic efficacy and duration of action. “The product is now available in a 10 ml multidose vial. It is suitable for post-operative analgesia in dogs and cats; post operative analgesia, in combination with sedation, in horses and potentiation of the sedative effects of centrally acting agents in the dog and horse.”
