Burgess Pet Care Hops Into Spring With New Product Range
Family-owned pet food manufacturer, Burgess Pet Care, is excited to announce the expansion of its Excel range for small animals with the addition of three new treat products – Herby Hearts, Fruity Feasts and Meadow Munchies.
Holly Ackroyd, Senior Brand Manager for Burgess Excel, said:
“Following the success of our existing Excel baked snack range, we’re excited to add three new products this Spring, which small furries of all ages will love. Made from natural ingredients, both Herby Hearts and Fruity Feasts are naturally healthy, high fibre grass-based treats, which are perfect for hand feeding.
“Another addition to the Excel treats line, Meadow Munchies are made from compressed high quality meadow feeding hay with dandelion & camomile, to support dental, digestive, and behavioural health. As 85-90% of a rabbit’s diet should be high quality, dust extracted feeding hay or fresh grass, these naturally healthy treats will help to ensure that your rabbits are getting the best diet and help prevent selective feeding.”
New listing for Paul O’Grady range
The expansion of its Excel treats line follows news that Burgess has recently secured a key listing for its Paul O’Grady’s No Nasties range to enter AF Blakemore’s wholesale distribution network and its 950 strong group of company owned and independent SPAR retail stores.
Paul O’Grady’s is a range of complete and balanced dry dog food available in No Nasties and Hypoallergenic. As a huge dog lover himself, Paul’s mission is to bring a great value, high quality dog food to the masses, full of healthy ingredients that support a happy life.
TV star Paul O’Grady said: “I believe all dogs deserve the very best, so I worked with the experts at Burgess Pet Care to rustle up something special. The No Nasties range is rich in high-quality ingredients and is packed with all the good stuff.”
Relaunch for Burgess Sensitive
Burgess has also recently invested in the relaunch of its Burgess Sensitive range with the addition of Senior Sensitive, a new line tailored specifically for dogs aged seven and over. The Sensitive range, which consistently receives positive feedback from dog owners, continues to feature the same great recipes as before, and is specially formulated for dogs with sensitive stomachs that have special dietary needs.
