Burgess Pet Care Receives Accolade In National Cat Product Awards

Burgess Pet Care is delighted to announce that it has been highly commended in the Your Cat Product Awards 2023 in the category, Best Dry Food.
Over 2,500 votes were cast by the readers of Your Cat magazine, who were asked to vote for their favourite products across a variety of categories. Burgess Cat Chicken with Duck - specially formulated to contain all the essential nutrients cats need from the age of 12 months - came out as a clear favourite among readers to secure a coveted commendation.
Nicole Fallon, marketing manager for Burgess Pet Care, said: - “All of the categories in the Your Cat Product Awards were really competitive, so we’re absolutely thrilled that Burgess Cat Chicken with Duck has secured this accolade, placing it among some of the biggest and best feline brands in the pet industry.
“Pets’ well-being is really important to Burgess and our cat food has been designed to help keep cats happy and healthy throughout their lives. Burgess works closely with lots of charities including Yorkshire Cat Rescue, which we’ve supported for several years by providing food for all the cats at their rescue centre.”

Since our partnership began, we’ve been able to feed hundreds of abandoned and unwanted cats and kittens in Yorkshire and beyond, thanks to their regular donations of cat food, which always goes down well with the cats and kittens in our care! Burgess also kindly donates its neutered cat food product, as all of our rescue cats are neutered before being adopted, which has huge benefits to their overall health and wellbeing.”
