Ceva Animal Health Launches Emeprid® For Dogs And Cats

Ceva Animal Health has launched Emeprid® for dogs and cats, which contains the tried and trusted anti-emetic and pro-kinetic metoclopramide. Emeprid is specifically licensed in dogs and cats for the symptomatic treatment of vomiting and reduced gastro-intestinal motility associated with gastritis, pyloric spasm, chronic nephritis and digestive intolerance to some drugs. There are two formulations available; a 10ml multi-dose vial containing 5mg/ml metoclopramide for IV, SC or IM injection and a 125ml ‘sweet orange and apricot flavoured’ oral solution containing 1mg/ml metoclopramide. These are available at a price of only £7.99 for the 10ml injectable bottle and £9.99 for the oral solution.
