Ceva Hosts Feline Hypertension Bitesize Video Series
Ceva Animal Health, manufacturer of Amodip®, is hosting a feline hypertension bitesize CPD video series to provide veterinary professionals with practical guidance on the diagnosis and treatment of feline hypertension and commonly associated conditions.
With an increased focus on feline hypertension during May and June as part of Ceva’s Feline Hypertension Awareness Months, the ‘Under pressure: management of feline hypertension and concurrent disease’CPD series is presented by Rosanne Jepson BVSc MVetMed PhD DipACVIM DipECVIM PGCertVetEd FHEA MRCVS, professor of small animal internal medicine and nephrology at Royal Veterinary College. The masterclass is free of charge and is available on Ceva Academy; it consists of eight bitesize videos offering 1.5 hours CPD.
The video series will provide practical guidance on complex case management and an overview of diagnosis and treatment pathways for CKD and hyperthyroidism, which are available as printable downloads. They will enable online delegates to recognise feline hypertension and understand why its proactive and timely recognition matters, offer an insight into the complex relationships between hypertension and commonly associated conditions such as chronic kidney disease (CKD) and hyperthyroidism and allow integration of simple, practical and evidence-led strategies for managing hypertension and the common feline comorbidities.
