Global Expert To Lead Q Fever Roadshow
Ceva Animal Health, manufacturer of the Q fever vaccine Coxevac®, is hosting a Q fever roadshow offering expert insights and practical solutions into the disease.
Led by global Q fever expert, Raphaël Guatteo, professor of bovine medicine and health management at the Oniris Veterinary College in Nantes, each session will focus on research into the disease, diagnostic issues and treatment options.
Q fever affects ruminant health and productivity, as well as posing a health risk to people. Diagnosing Q fever can prove challenging, with a wide range of clinical signs that may not be associated at first thought to the disease.
The session will boost vet professionals’ knowledge of this often under-diagnosed disease and its potential impact on ruminants and those who work with livestock.
Following a presentation by Raphaël, delegates will have the opportunity to participate in a Q&A session. Each sesson will include lunch or supper and will last approximately 2.5 hours. CPD certificates will be available after the roadshow.
The Q fever roadshow consists of the following sessions:
- 12.30pm on Tuesday 3rd November - Cumbria livestock market, Carlisle, Cumbria
- 6.00pm on Tuesday 3rd November – Hill Valley Hotel, Whitchurch, Cheshire
- 6.00pm on Wednesday 4th November – Vale Resort Hotel, Hensol, Glamorgan
- 10.30am on Thursday 5th November – Shrubbery Hotel, Ilminster, Somerset
