CVS UK Ltd Expands Equine Veterinary Services In Wales With The Launch Of South Wales Equine Vets
CVS Group, one of the leading integrated veterinary service providers in the UK, the Netherlands and the Republic of Ireland, today confirms it is expanding the presence of its Equine Division in Wales with the creation of a new equine veterinary practice, South Wales Equine Vets, which launches on 1st July 2021.
Up until now, CVS has had three practices offering equine veterinary services in the region; B&W Equine Vets (Cardiff), Carmarthen Veterinary Centre and Market Hall Vets (St. Clears). South Wales Equine Vets incorporates and replaces the equine services of all three practices.
South Wales Equine Vets has clinic premises and facilities in Carmarthen and Pendoylan, the latter previously being the Cardiff base of B&W Equine Vets and is where the support and reception team is based.
Duncan Graham BVM&S CertAVP MRCVS has been appointed as Clinical Director of South Wales Equine Vets and will head up the expanding veterinary team, currently consisting of 10 dedicated equine vets.
CVS Equine Director, Hattie Lawrence, commented:
‘We’re excited to be launching South Wales Equine Vets, which will enable us to offer dedicated equine veterinary care with specialist support to more horse owners across South Wales and facilitate further expansion across the region. We have seen an increasing demand for our services and it makes sense for us to have a single practice dedicated to South Wales which will make it easier for the existing clinical teams there to work together, provide continuity of care and have a more co-ordinated approach. More importantly, it will enable us to provide an even better service for our clients.’
