Dr Andy Roark DVM, MS is a practising vet in South Carolina. He also happens to have the largest social media following of any veterinary professional anywhere in the world, thanks to his unique blend of insight, common sense and humour. And he has accepted Cxclub's invitation to give the closing session at this June's Cx Congress, his first ever speaking engagement in the UK.

Dr Roark has a wealth of knowledge on the customer experience and its impact across the practice. As the founder and managing director of veterinary consulting firm, Tall Oaks Enterprises LLC, and board member of the NAVC Program Committee, the Veterinary Team Brief Advisory Board and the National VBMA Advisory Board, Dr Roark is certainly well connected in the profession stateside. But it's his practical tips and everyman approach that make him the perfect choice to close Cx Congress.

The 'you can do it' theme of this year's Cx Congress fits perfectly with Dr Roark's approach - through his work he aims to encourage every member of the practice team to contribute their skills and ideas to improving the customer experience, and his style is inclusive. "We are showing people what it’s really like to be in the trenches of veterinary medicine, bringing vet professionals together through shared experiences. We are giving a platform to people in our profession who haven’t had a voice before, making pet owners laugh and see that our profession is full of good people who are a lot like them."

Cx Congress takes place on Saturday 16th June at De Vere East Midlands Conference Centre. Ticket prices start from £185 + VAT per person.
