Cozy Heated F Circuit
Darvall To Showcase New Veterinary Technology At VMX 2026
Solutions to common veterinary challenges will be unveiled by Darvall at VMX 2026, Orlando Jan 17-21 on the booth of its North American distributor Jorgensen Laboratories (Booth 3206). The following products are designed to improve patient safety, streamline workflows, and support more efficient anesthesia in veterinary practice.
Heading the line-up is the first coaxial system that warms inhaled anesthetic gases, for dogs, cats, and exotic patients – Darvall’s Cozy Heated F-Circuit. Traditional F-circuits with corrugated tubing create high resistance, especially in large dogs, which can make anesthesia less efficient. Darvall’s smooth-wall design overcomes this challenge as it reduces resistance by up to 70%, while built-in digital temperature sensing ensures rapid, accurate warming – helping prevent hypothermia and supporting safer, more comfortable anesthesia for patients of all sizes.
Additionally, Darvall will exhibit its SafeAbsorb - a one-piece, lightweight circle absorber with a fail-safe “Pop-Off” valve designed to improve patient safety. Traditional circle absorbers can pose risks if the valve is accidentally closed, leading to baro-trauma. Darvall’s SafeAbsorb solves this problem with a high-pressure release mechanism and a compact, adaptable design that fits any anesthetic machine. It is ideal for remote procedures, imaging suites, or small patients down to 12 lbs, providing safer, more reliable anesthesia for every setting.
Finally, Darvall’s Cozy Warm Air Blankets, engineered to maintain patient temperatures from pre-warming through surgery and recovery. Designed for surgery, dentistry, and similar procedures, the blankets deliver even heat, while single and double-door versions provide up to 25% more warmth than traditional systems, allowing pre-warming in just 40 minutes for faster, safer recovery and improved surgical outcomes.
Colin Dunlop, founder of Darvall, commented: “At Darvall, we’re driven by the needs of veterinarians and their patients. The innovations we’re showcasing at VMX reflects our commitment to smarter design, improved patient care, and environmental responsibility. We look forward to sharing these developments and discussing how technology can make anesthesia safer, simpler, and more sustainable.”
