Dechra Veterinary Products will be supporting delegates attending BSAVA Congress with a wide range of information on key therapy areas, including endocrinology and dermatology, on offer.
The Dechra team will be once again welcoming visitors to stand 500 at Birmingham's NIA and is also supporting the world-class lecture stream during the event.
Dechra Veterinary Products' UK and Ireland Country Manager Bob Parmenter said: “We'll have information on our Cushing's Challenge series of CPD, which for the first time is available as a podcast. It was designed to challenge vets to update their knowledge on the syndrome and more than 21% of all UK small animal vets are estimated to have already viewed this CPD.
“Delegates can find out more about the free-of-charge series, which features episodes on pathophysiology, clinical signs and routine lab tests, at Congress where they can also collect samples of client support material for their practices.
Dechra is also sponsoring an exhibitor stream presentation by Dr Sarah Caney BVSc PhD DSAM (Feline) MRCVS on Friday, April 5.
Bob Parmenter said: “Endocrine disorders are a key focus for Dechra and we're pleased to support the lecture stream in 2013. Dr Caney will be presenting data from a new survey detailing cat owners’ experiences and opinions of medical management of feline hyperthyroidism.”
And a year on from the launch of Dechra's successful Time to Change campaign, the team will also be updating delegates on support material and information available from the dermatology-focused campaign.
Time to Change was launched amid a growing concern surrounding the issues of antimicrobial resistance and aims to support veterinary professionals through a holistic best practice approach to dermatology.
“Our support material has proved very popular with veterinary professionals and we will be updating delegates on material released since the campaign launch. This includes online CPD focusing on skin and ear cytology, presented by Peter Forsythe BVM&S DVD MRCVS RCVS Specialist in Veterinary Dermatology,” added Bob Parmenter.
Dechra Veterinary Products will be on Stand 500 at BSAVA Congress, held at the NIA Birmingham, from April 4-7. 1337 views
