Early bird tickets are now on sale for Vets Cymru 2026, jointly hosted by BSAVA and the Wales Veterinary Science Centre (WVSC).

Taking place at Aberystwyth University on 2–3 July 2026, Vets Cymru offers two days of high-quality CPD for both small and large animal veterinary professionals from across the UK.

Delegates can look forward to an extensive programme of 39 lectures and practical sessions spread across four dedicated streams. The content will cover a wide range of topics, from sheep, equine and cattle lameness to antimicrobial stewardship, dentistry, nutrition and sustainability, ensuring something for every area of practice.

In the Small Animal Vet Stream, experts such as Rachel James, Dave Dickson and Rebecca Littler will share their insights, while the Small Animal Nurse Stream features Kathryn Latimer-Jones, Georgia Woods-Lee and Andrea Jeffrey. For the Large Animal Stream, delegates will hear from leading voices including Becca Roberts and Mariecia Fraser from Aberystwyth University Research, Richard Pizzey from the Welsh Government, as well as Joe Angell and Shaun McKane, among others.

Delegates can also network with industry representatives in the small exhibition, featuring the likes of VetPlus, Elanco, Burtons, Eickemeyer Veterinary Equipment and more.

Sarah Fitzpatrick, Head of Partnerships and Events at BSAVA said: “Vets Cymru is a fantastic opportunity to learn, network, and enjoy the unique setting of Aberystwyth. We’re thrilled to bring together experts from across the profession for two days of practical, relevant CPD.”

Dr Beverley Hopkins, Veterinary Manager at WVSC continued: “By bringing together specialists in both small and large animal practice, we aim to provide practical, evidence-based CPD that supports vets and nurses in delivering the highest standards of care. We’re proud to partner with BSAVA to create an event that combines learning and collaboration.”

Early bird tickets start at £52+VAT for BSAVA members; £114+VAT for non-members. Prices will rise after 30th April. For more information and to book your ticket, visit the Vets Cymru website here: https://www.vetscymru.com/.
