Free Webinars Examine The Highs And Lows Of Canine Adrenal Disease
Dechra Veterinary products is hosting two free webinars in July that will focus on canine adrenal diseases and help veterinary professionals in practice.
?The first webinar on July 19 will focus on how to achieve a confident diagnosis of Cushing’s syndrome (Hyperadrenocorticism) and discusses how Vetoryl® can be used to restore a dog's quality of life on every level.
As dogs with Addison’s disease (Hypoadrenocorticism) will often display non-specific clinical signs, which can wax and wane, the second webinar on July 25 will look at dogs with Addison’s disease and the challenges of a diagnosis.
Both webinars will be led by Emily Haynes BVSc MRCVS, a Veterinary Technical Advisor at Dechra Veterinary Products.
Craig Sankey, Brand Manager at Dechra Veterinary Products, said: “Hyperadrenocorticism (Cushing’s syndrome) is a rewarding endocrinopathy to diagnose and treat, as dogs commonly present with clinical signs which can have a negative impact upon both pet and owner.
“The second session is designed to make veterinary professionals more ‘Addison’s Aware’ and will examine how Zycortal® can be the visible solution to this challenging hidden disease.”
To register for the free sessions, which begin at 7pm, go to: http://www.dechra.co.uk/academy/dechra-academy-live
?Attending a webinar qualifies participants for one hour of Continuing Professional Development.
