As part of its popular Veterinary Nurse webinar series, Royal Canin has announced its next online training session - ‘Getting Wiser About Getting Older’ - which will take place at 8.30pm on Tuesday 22 October 2013.
The one hour webinar will tackle the topic of canine and feline ageing – as the life expectancy of dogs and cats in the UK continues to increase. Presented by the Royal (Dick) Small Animal Clinic’s Donna Gaylor RVN and Royal Canin’s Clare Hemmings RVN, the webinar will provide tips to implementing and running a Senior Pet Club in your practice, whilst also discussing the key signs of ageing.
Clare Hemmings explains: “It’s important that Veterinary Nurses are able to spot signs of aging - such as loss of hearing and thinning fur – and then demonstrate how practices can help pets with the issues unique to their old age. Our webinar will look at how to build a Senior Pet Club into a practice, discussing senior care with clients and the nutritional support available for dogs and cats in their advancing years.”
Anyone interested in undertaking the webinar can register by visiting www.royalcanin.co.uk/wiser. The webinar is easy to join - all you need is a computer (with speakers) which is connected to the internet. CPD certificates will be made available online to those who attend these events.2737 views
