Hampshire Vet Hospital Announces 2025 CPD Programme
Southern Counties Veterinary Specialists, one of the UK’s largest specialist referral centres and part of the IVC Evidensia network, has announced a number of CPD events throughout 2025. Aimed at vets and vet nurses, the sessions cover a range of topics and will be a mix of online and in-person events which are mostly free-to-attend. More dates will be announced throughout the year.
Head of cardiology Tobi Wagner kicked off the programme on 21 January with a free session on how to interpret echoes in practice. The interactive session tested attendees’ interpretation skills, with tips from Tobi.
Other free events include a radiographic film night on 4 February where attendees will discuss challenging radiographic cases and an informative session on the common complications that can occur during anaesthesia and how best to deal with them on 27 February.
Tobi will also host in depth Echo Clinics on 11 March, 1 July and 11 November. These small group practical sessions will look at how to obtain the necessary echocardiography views that can aid decision making in day-to-day clinical practice. Tickets for these clinics cost £375 and will provide four hours of CPD for attendees.
Natalie Patten, hospital director at SCVS, said:
“We are very much looking forward to welcoming our veterinary colleagues to SCVS and to sharing our team’s knowledge and expertise with them. Professional development is incredibly important at all stages of a veterinary career and these events provide a valuable opportunity to learn from excellent practitioners.”
