Hop on over to the Jurox (UK) Limited stand (stand S30) at the London Vet Show (LVS) to hear more about the company’s popular anaesthetic for cats and dogs, Alfaxan, which is now licensed for pet rabbits.

Jurox takes great pride in its investment in educational initiatives to help raise anaesthesia and analgesia standards in veterinary practices throughout the UK and as well as on-stand competitions and giveaways, Jurox will also be launching an innovative new rabbit anaesthesia booklet at LVS.  The ‘Considerations in rabbit anaesthesia’ booklet has been produced by an expert panel and contains guidelines to support vets and vet nurses with the increasing demand for rabbit care.  Copies of the booklet are available, upon request, from the Jurox stand.

The company will also be hosting a lecture on each day of LVS.  The Jurox-sponsored lectures are entitled ‘Considerations in rabbit anaesthesia’ and take place in Gallery Suite 17 from 2.00pm to 2.50pm on Thursday and 11.30am to 12.30pm on Friday.  They will be presented by leading experts in rabbit anaesthesia, Jo Hedley, lecturer in exotic species and small mammal medicine and surgery at the Royal Veterinary College, and Jenna Richardson, lecturer and clinician in rabbit, exotic animal and wildlife medicine and surgery at the Univeristy of Edinburgh.

The presentations will cover the many considerations in rabbit anaesthesia, from recognising the needs of a prey species to post-operative care and will contain practical tips that can be utilised in practice.  The interactive discussions will enable delegates to formulate their own protocols based on the latest research and thinking from a panel of experts.

For further information on how Jurox can help your anaesthesia and analgesia protocols come and see us on stand S30 at LVS.  Alternatively, please contact your local Jurox technical advisor, telephone the customer services team on 01293 510681 or e-mail us at [email protected].
