networking at the inspiring vet care Clinical Congress
Inspiring Vet Care Brings Together 1,500 Colleagues For Its Largest-ever UK Clinical Congress
inspiring vet care has recently held its largest-ever Clinical Congress, bringing together 1,500 veterinary professionals from across its network spanning small animal, farm, equine, nursing and referrals.
The event, which took place on Tuesday 19 May and Wednesday 20 May in Birmingham, brought together vets and nurses from across inspiring vet care’s 900+ practices across the UK, to take part in CPD - delivered by in-house colleagues – on a number of core clinical disciplines. The CPD programme covered key clinical disciplines including preventative care, dermatology, dentistry and cardiology, with a mixture of lectures and panel discussions.
During the day delegates heard more about inspiring vet care’s clinical strategy – More Complete Care - which seeks to close care gaps for animals through evidence-based guidance, increased care opportunities, earlier detection, owner engagement, and more consistent care across practices. The inspiring vet care unified brand has been centred around the More Complete Care clinical strategy.
The Congress included updates on continued investment in clinical development, training and the infrastructure that supports high-quality care delivery. Details were also shared on initiatives focused on clinical innovation, further growing the connection across clinical teams and services, and identifying and scaling best practice to support better patient outcomes across the group’s UK network.
In addition to the CPD and wider business updates, delegates had the opportunity to connect with other practice colleagues and meet with a large number of suppliers and colleagues from their support teams.
To build on the success of the Congress, follow-on clinical events are being held during June and July. The ‘Clinical Conversations’ are giving all vets and nurses within inspiring vet care, an opportunity to take part in CPD sessions through a combination of online learning and presentations, and local collaboration and discussion with their clinical teams.
Commenting on the Clinical Congress, Richard Hooker, Country Medical Director (UK), inspiring vet care, said:
“Clinical Congress was about bringing our clinical community together - across species, roles and settings - so teams can learn from each other, connect with colleagues, and ultimately translate the latest clinical evidence into More Complete Care – ensuring the animals in our care receive the right care at the right time.
“Our inspiring vet care brand is built on our point of difference – using the power of our global network and the latest clinical evidence to deliver exceptional care locally. Bringing so many of our vets and nurses together at one event supports sharing that knowledge at scale and helps us to deliver a consistent experience for our clients and patients.”
The inspiring vet care brand will bring the network together under one clear and consistent identity, is being rolled out across all practices alongside local clinic names, as well as websites and social media channels. The brand was developed through extensive research with clients and our clinical teams, and is built around the pillars of innovation, value and care.
