Johnson’s Veterinary Products, one of the UK’s leading suppliers of pet healthcare products to pet shops and pet stores, has increased its extensive range with the introduction of a new Paw & Nose Balm for dogs.

It’s launch is to coincide with National Pet Month, which is coordinated by NOAH (National Office of Animal Health) and UK Pet Food, an association for the pet food industry.

This 100% natural and vegan-friendly product contains British aloe vera, vitamin E and UK-grown lavender, to create an ultra-nourishing balm designed to be massaged into paws before and after walks to soothe sore, cracked pads. It is also recommended to help moisturise dry dog noses too.

Paul Gwynn, Managing Director at Johnson’s Veterinary Products, commented: “For more than 100 years, Johnson’s has continued to innovate and manufacture the cost-effective pet healthcare products the public and their pets need, all available from pet shops and pet stores.

“Modern life, with salt on the roads, waterlogged walks and warm dry houses can take their toll on even the hardiest of dog breeds. We have designed this balm to help soothe sore pads and nourish dry noses.

“Understanding our responsibility to deliver an ever-increasingly sustainable range of products, whilst reducing the carbon footprint associated with their supply and manufacture, we sourced UK-grown lavender and aloe vera. The product is manufactured in the UK with re-useable and recyclable packaging.

“We have re-visited our heritage to inspire our packaging, with a simpler design that echoes our earlier pet healthcare products, which will undoubtedly be recognised by many of our loyal customers who have relied on Johnson’s through the decades.

“This is the first of many new products we have in the pipeline as we look to strengthen our presence in pet shops and pet stores by extending our current ranges. But we also now have new products on the drawing board that will take Johnson’s into new and exciting markets.

“The cost-of-living crisis has hit everyone and the need for cost-effective pet healthcare products, available over the counter at pet shops and pet stores is helping drive growth in the Johnson’s brand, which allows us to develop new products such as our Paw & Nose Balm for dogs.”
