New Children's Book To Help Save The Hedgehogs!
An engaging and beautifully illustrated story for young readers about “Britain’s favourite wild mammal” that teaches children all about hedgehogs, what they eat, why they are at risk and how to help them
Tereza Anteneova, supported by the charity Hedgehog Street, has created Spikey, a book that aims to encourage children and their parents to help save the hedgehogs by creating hedgehog-friendly gardens and discouraging predators.
Hedgehogs are ‘Britain’s favourite wild mammal’ and while they certainly are cute, most kids and their parents actually know very little about them.
Spikey, by Tereza Anteneová, is a new children’s story book for children aged 2-8 - the very young up through early readers - that aims to help children to learn how they live, what they eat and why they are at risk. It is first and foremost an engaging story about the adventures of a young hedgehog – but cleverly there is a lot to learn along the way. And not just for the kids as parents have a lot to learn while they share the book with their little ones.
Author Tereza Anteneová is a journalist and television presenter who was inspired by her own childhood trips to the countryside with her father.
