New Clinical Operations Lead For Medivet
Medivet has appointed Dr Ciara Mc Cormack as its new Head of Clinical Operations.
Ciara, who also becomes a member of the Medivet Group Board, will play a key role in supporting the growth of the business and driving clinical excellence across its practice community.
She will continue to shape the Clinical Operations team and function, supporting practices as they integrate into Medivet’s business and community while overseeing the further investment in and development of key business systems and processes.
Medivet CEO, Dr Arnold Levy, said: “Ciara has strong veterinary experience from her years in practice and, since she joined us in 2016, has also demonstrated a great ability to motivate and develop operational teams.
“Our Clinical Operations function plays a pivotal role in supporting our practices. Ciara will provide strong leadership to this team and build on the encouraging progress that has been made in the past 12 months. We are excited to see her step up to this key role at Medivet and wish her every success.”
Ciara graduated as a vet from UCD in Dublin in 2011 and joined Medivet in 2016 as a Regional Director, looking after practices across South West London, Reading and Wales.
“Working with dedicated teams of veterinary professionals, who are single-mindedly focused on providing the highest possible standards of care to their patients, is a pleasure and a privilege,” said Ciara.
“The Clinical Operations function serves as an important foundation of support for all our practices and an important bridge between our Branches and the Medivet Central teams. The investment the Company has made in the function over the past 12-18 months has driven significant benefits for our business and our people, and with further investment and improvements we will continue to offer a high level of effective support as our community grows.”
