Attend a new Senior Pets Congress on Wednesday 3 June 2026
New For 2026 -The College Of Animal Welfare - Senior Pets Congress
The College of Animal Welfare (CAW) is delighted to announce that registrations are now open for new Senior Pets Congress held on Wednesday 3 June 2026
Senior Pets Congress is a brand new one day virtual event focusing on the care of senior pets in veterinary practice. This congress offers 7 hours of evidenced CPD and this year we are welcoming a range of expert industry speakers to deliver lectures. Our live Q&A sessions give you the opportunity to pose questions to be answered by the speakers themselves.
This year’s agenda delivers a focused programme dedicated to improving care for senior pets. Topics include managing congestive heart failure, supporting older animals through anaesthesia, navigating the challenges of euthanasia, providing holistic osteoarthritis care, and enhancing wellbeing through tailored senior nutrition. Together, these sessions equip veterinary professionals with the knowledge and compassion needed to support ageing pets and the families who love them.
Claire Gregory, CPD and Events Manager at The College of Animal Welfare, commented: “As our pet population ages, the demand for specialised senior care continues to grow. This new event highlights this and delves into caring for our senior clients, with evidence-based medicine and compassion working hand in hand for all around care”
Senior Pets Congress will be held online via Zoom, allowing participants to join from the comfort of their homes or workplaces. Attendees will have the opportunity to listen to expert presentations, participate in interactive Q&A sessions, network with delegates and exhibitors, and access on-demand recordings of the talks for later review.
Registration is now open, with early-bird discounts available until Friday, 10 April 2026. For more information and to register, visit Book: Senior Pets Congress 2026
