New name, new focus for former Croft Vets hospital
These are exciting times for veterinary care in the northeast. Under new management, and with a greatly expanded remit, the Croft Vets referral hospital at Cramlington is to be re-launched under the new name 'North East Veterinary Referrals'.
North East Veterinary Referrals will be managed by Joint Clinical Directors Sean Henney BVM&S, CertSAD, MRCVS and Kathryn Pratschke MVB CertSAS MVM Dip ECVS MRCVS and RCVS and European Specialist in Small Animal Surgery, assuring both referring practices and pet owners that the clinical care given to pets treated by the hospital will be second to none.

Sean explains: "Kathryn and myself are fortunate to have a fantastic team of experienced vets, nurses and customer care staff at the hospital, and whilst the directors and the name above the door have changed, our commitment to excellence and the quality of our care have not. This rebranding marks the start of an exciting new era for specialist veterinary care across the northeast and Borders region, and everyone at the hospital is looking forward to developing new and mutually beneficial partnerships with our clinical colleagues in primary practice."
Kathryn added "As North East Veterinary referrals we will be adding a number of services not previously available in the area: a specialist soft tissue surgery referral service, orthopaedic surgery, and medical and surgical oncology. The team is dedicated to providing a professional, accessible and comprehensive referral service that exceeds expectations both in terms of clinical care and customer service."
