New Veterinary Management Group Directors Announced
The Veterinary Management Group (VMG) has expanded its board to better reflect the range of knowledge and skills required to run a successful veterinary business today. Nine new directors have been appointed, bring the total number of directors to 18. The new directors are:
- Sam Anderson RVN
- Claire Baber RVN
- Gemma Barmby MRCVS
- Andrew Hillier
- Jade Kelly RVN
- Rebecca Robinson MRCVS
- Mena Smith RVN
- Stacie Smith RVN
- Max Welch MRCVS
The new directors span all areas of the veterinary sector, working in both corporate and independent practice and in clinical, management and commercial roles. They commenced their two-year term of office following the VMG’s annual general meeting which took place on 1 March 2023.
The VMG’s new President, Miles Russell, was also appointed at the AGM. Commenting on the expansion to the Board, he said: “Our new recruits bring us expertise in many key areas, including veterinary nursing, early career veterinary development and marketing and communications. They will help us to support the specific needs of our members more closely through VMG Congress and other initiatives, as well as enabling us to help guide the wider veterinary profession through the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.”
