Niall McFerran Appointed New UK Head Of Alstoe Animal Health

Niall McFerran (right) with Jean-Pascal Barrier from Sogeval Following the acquisition of Alstoe by the French company Sogeval (announced on 14 February 2013), Mr Niall McFerran has been appointed as Country Manager for UK and the Republic of Ireland. The company now trades as Alstoe Ltd a division of Sogeval. A familiar figure within the veterinary industry, Niall’s background is that he was brought up in a rural North Yorkshire veterinary practice. Prior to joining Alstoe, he had worked for Hoechst in 1976, then the Vet Drug Company in 1986, where in 1989 he founded Animalcare Ltd. “This is a very exciting challenge”, said Niall. “Sogeval is a highly successful company who develop and manufacture excellent products”.
