Mark Goodfellow will present a course that aims to equip the clinician to diagnose and treat common malignancies in dogs and cats. Basic cytological examination through to advanced testing modalities will be discussed. In particular this session will focus on tumours in which chemotherapy is the preferred treatment modality. In addition to discussing the careful clinical use of cytotoxics and managing any adverse effects, the course will also equip clinicians to use chemotherapeutics safely in practice.
