Nurses generally have an abundance of ideas about how they can develop areas where nurse consultations can have a vital input to preventative healthcare - and of course in creating bonded clients, improving client compliance, providing nurse job satisfaction, and increasing practice revenue and standards of client service - but it's just getting started that's the difficult bit!
What tends to happen is that it always stays on the back-burner, and everyday practice just takes over - rendering nurses frustrated that their ideas are never made to happen, clients and their pets missing out on a great service, and practices losing out on a highly valuable resource.
ONCORE are currently developing a module that will help put together a strategy for planning, implementing, marketing and developing the nurse clinics aspect of your practice. Whether you already run nurse clinics, and just want to expand or refine this; or haven't yet got underway - this module will be a vital step in moving forward.
Examples of some areas covered include:- Exploring the current competition
- Ideas and opportunities
- Developing a clear plan for implementation of ideas
- Developing a pricing structure
- Marketing your nurse clinic services
- Areas which may cause difficulties, and how to deal with them
