Leading healthcare communications consultancy, Pegasus, has reached a milestone by employing its 100th member of staff.

Ian Ray has joined Pegasus’ animal health team as Senior Account Director. Ian has a background in health behaviour change and psychology and was previously a creative director at Spoonful of Sugar, a University College London spin out consultancy, where he had oversight of the creative work and content on behavioural programmes across Europe and the US.

Pegasus’ 12-strong animal health division now boasts three vets, team members with a background in veterinary journalism, as well as dedicated social, digital, and design teams.

Associate Director at Pegasus Heidi Bell said: “Our Animal Health division has seen phenomenal growth since its inception six years ago. The appointment of Ian signals our determination to ensure our animal health team has the knowledge base, insights and level of expertise to offer to clients.”

Over the past 20 years, Pegasus has become the UK’s leading health communications consultancy. All 100 staff work collaboratively to create and deliver outstanding integrated campaigns that blend traditional, digital and social communications.

Lisa Bradley, Managing Director of Pegasus says: “Reaching 100 staff members is a fantastic achievement for Pegasus and one I am extremely proud of. In recent years we have experienced phenomenal growth and we can attribute much of our success to the strength of our people. Today, consultancy staff need to have skills and experience that span far beyond the traditional communications and PR roles, to be able to provide clients with bespoke solutions and fresh ideas – something which we strongly look for when recruiting new members of staff.”
