CVS has recruited Jack Boiling into the newly created role of Recruitment Manager. In this role he will help to support the company's rapid growth, focusing on helping the company attract new staff, including graduates for its expanding New Graduate Programme. Jack has ten years' experience in recruitment, eight years of which he spent working at Guidant Group, a recruitment outsourcer. During his time at Guidant, he worked with a range of blue chip companies including insurance broker Willis, Philips, Camelot (National Lottery) and John Lewis Partnership. He holds a Diploma in Recruitment Management.
Commenting on his appointment, he said: "I was attracted to CVS by the growth, diversity and opportunity within the business, as well as the people I met. The opportunity to develop our approach to the recruitment of staff so that we show real leadership in this area was just too exciting to miss. I'll also be working with the wider HR team to ensure we're giving our people the very best career opportunities to enable them to progress within CVS."
Helen Wiseman, HR Director, added: "As the business grows and our recruitment needs increase, we felt the time was right to introduce a specialist to help us sharpen our approach to recruiting the very best clinical and non-clinical personnel. Jack has an obvious passion for recruitment and has great experience, having worked with a number of leading companies. We're delighted to welcome him to the team."
Key to its success is CVS' ability to attract ambitious veterinary staff whilst continuing to invest in the development of their clinical skills and in research to drive the profession forward. It also provides the business support to ensure its diverse range of small animal, large animal and equine practices achieve their full potential. CVS' guiding principles include a commitment to excellence in all aspects of its work and a focus on building long-term relationships with its customers and suppliers. The company works in close partnership with the wider veterinary profession and industry colleagues.
