ROYAL CANIN Pet Health Counsellor Awards Open For Entries
The ROYAL CANIN® Pet Health Counsellor Awards are back by popular demand with brand new categories to enter. The scheme, which has been running for over 15 years, encourages Veterinary Nurses to advance their professional development and recognises exceptional contributions to pet health care.
Reflecting the changing practice environment, the awards have received a make-over and will celebrate worthy winners in the following categories:
· Pet Health Counsellor of the Year
· Most Innovative Clinic
· Biggest Business Impact
· Most Promising Newcomer
· Brand Ambassador
· Practice of the Year
· Most Successful Clinic(s)
· Biggest Client Impact
· Best use of Social Media
· Gone the Extra Mile
With previous years shining the light on anything from heart and asthma clinics to puppy parties, nutrition sessions and weigh-in clubs, the awards provide Veterinary Nurses the chance to showcase their commitment to preventative health care and running innovative pet health clinics in practice.
ROYAL CANIN’s Veterinary Marketing Executive, Sarah Collins RVN, said: “This year’s Pet Health Counsellor Awards are set to be even bigger and better, putting the spotlight on those who go above and beyond to help educate owners and improve the lives of their dogs and cats.
“Our brand new categories will help demonstrate the benefits clinics can bring to practice and will ensure even more Veterinary Nurses can enter. We look forward to welcoming entries from practices across the country demonstrating all the wonderful initiatives available.”
Winners will receive between £200 and £250 worth of shopping vouchers, with the overall PHC of the Year award winner receiving £1,500 of shopping vouchers. Any Veterinary Nurse who has attended the PHC course is eligible to enter and entries must be received by 31st August 2016. Further details and entry forms are available from your ROYAL CANIN® Veterinary Business Manager, or by contacting [email protected]. Finalists will be invited to attend the awards evening held on 21st October 2016 at the Forest of Arden Marriott Hotel, Nr Birmingham.
