ROYAL CANIN To Host Free Weight Management Webinar

The festive season can be a problematic time when it comes to weight management. Royal Canin® is tackling the topic with free webinar entitled ‘Tis the season to be eating’.
Hosted on Tuesday 5th December at 8.00pm, the webinar aims to address the issues around weight management at Christmas and gives hints and tips on how to avoid the ‘slippery slope’ of weight gain.
Royal Canin® Weight Management Clinic Nurse at the University of Liverpool, Georgia Woods RVN CertCFVHNut PHC will be leading the webinar. She will discuss the bond food can help build between humans and animals, reflecting on the situations she sees commonly which lead her patients to a state of obesity.
Georgia explains: “Pets have become such an integral part of family life and together, with the anthropomorphic tendencies of many pet owners, this means that often pets are overindulged too. With approximately half of all pet dogs and cats in the UK thought to be overweight or obese, it is an issue that cannot be ignored.”
