Following the success of the first ever Web Symposium in 2015 which brings clinical and practice management streams together in the one on-line place, ROYAL CANIN is set to host a second event, with a focus on small animal gastrointestinal disorders.

Taking place on 14th April 2016, ‘The Inside Story: Gastrointestinal Disorders’ is unique in bringing us not only a clinical perspective for practitioners but also the most recent updates in practice management. With four sessions held throughout the day, attendees are sure to find a lecture which assists them in practice.

Stan Marks, Professor in the Department of Medicine and Epidemiology at the University of California will cover ‘Demystifying chronic diarrhoea in dogs and cats’ and ‘Current concepts in the vomiting dog and cat’. Meanwhile, Pere Mercader, practice management consultant, author and researcher will be hosting ‘Seven tips to maximize the economic value of your practice’ and ‘Survival economics for veterinarians: ideas for facing tough times’. All sessions will be concluded with an opportunity for questions and answers.

Lee Danks, Veterinary Scientific Support Manager at ROYAL CANIN, said: “Our first ever international Web Symposium last year saw a great response amongst UK vets and nurses. With a focus on practical advice, this year’s excellent speakers are poised to create an even bigger impact; the question and answer sessions in particular are really useful for putting core lessons into an every-day context. I encourage everyone to tune in and ask heaps of questions.”

Anyone interested in attending the webinar can register for free by visiting http://websymposium.royalcanin.com/register/2016/register.php . ROYAL CANIN webinars are easy to join – all you need is a computer equipped with speakers.
